Explore safeguarding as a theological practice at the heart of mission, formation and Church life — with Father Hans Zollner SJ.
Safeguarding has become an essential responsibility across Church ministries — yet it is often framed narrowly in terms of policy, procedure and compliance. This workshop invites a deeper conversation.
Father Hans Zollner SJ will explore safeguarding as a theological practice rooted in the dignity of the human person, the mission of the Church, and its commitment to justice, care and accountability. Participants will be invited to reflect on how safeguarding theology can inform formation programs, leadership development, and institutional culture.
The day is designed to be reflective, dialogical and practical, bringing together theologians, educators, clergy, religious, formation leaders, safeguarding professionals and Church leaders.
This event is facilitated by Australian Catholic Safeguarding Ltd in collaboration with the Australian Catholic University. All enquiries regarding this event should be directed to ACSL at info@acsltd.org.au.
